Record Industry's Demise to be Portrayed by HBO producers
The producers from HBO's The Wire are working on a film adaptation of Appetite for Self-Destruction, a book exploring the "Spectacular Crash" of the record industry written by Rolling Stone editor, Steve Knopper. The book's time-line encompasses everything after the end of Disco up to the rise of digital music downloads. If you're too busy to catch it when it comes out, maybe you can download it somewhere...
