Swizz Beats stops by the DD172 complex to see his old buddy Dame Dash and talk about art, owning it as well as Swizzy’s own art. Just thumbing through his Twitpic account, he does seem to have some crazy Keith Harings, Basquiats and he mentioned something about Warhols in the interview. No shots, but all I could think of while he was trying to sound sophisticated about art was that Ruff Ryders bandana that was wrapped around his face in that nostalgia pic he threw up last week while he was working on “Stranded” with Jay. Speaking of which, Russell Simmons wants you to know that Swizz Beats is Haiti’s Unsung Hero.

Little Brother To Release Leftback on April 20th
“I didn’t want our last record to be a bunch of second-rate material,” says Phonte. “I wanted to walk away from Little Brother knowing that I gave our fans all that I had to give, and said everything I wanted to say. With LeftBack, I’ve done that.”There will be four videos dropping with this album, which is a step up from the one official video they have in their 3 album/3 mixtape spanning career. The DVD that drops with the album will include recent tour footage along with Little Brother footage that they shot and archived throughout their career.
For those that miss the initial run of albums that come with the DVD, there will be a DVD sold separately that will include all four videos that accompany the album.

While Kid Cudi was out in Boston, Jason Goldwatch got some footage of him breaking down his weed and rolling it up to the tune of his latest song, cudderisback. Towards the end, they discuss the protocol on deuces while on the road.
